BBD’s websites are built on top of the industry standards-based Joomla CMS framework. Joomla is a server application written in PHP with an HTML + CSS graphical user interface. This combination of web technologies makes Joomla robust and highly flexible. Joomla is a “rich media” environment allowing for dynamic elements such as audio and video to be used in the site design. Joomla’s CMS allows for easy site maintenance without having any knowledge of the underlying web technologies (more about that, below).
Managing Website Content
Remember that keeping the content on a site updated is essential to maintain preferential page ranking by the web search engines.
Our websites are constructed with a Content Management System (CMS) framework built in. This allows our clients to easily add and update specific content on their sites themselves without requiring us to do it for them.
When we deliver a website to our clients, we provide the training required so that our clients can do these kinds of additions and updating themselves. No knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP or any other web technology is required to use the CMS.
